Hello Wolcott Families!
The State of Vermont has given us guidance regarding recording attendance. Our teachers need to make contact with their students every scheduled school day. We will record these connections as attendance. If we fail to contact at least 50% of our students on any school day, the state will not "count" the day towards our school calendar and we will have to make it up at the end of the school year similar to a snow day.
Contact can be recorded in many ways besides a phone call or email. Some examples include Google Classrooms, Epic, SeeSaw, Freckle, Schoology or any other electronic means that the teacher can interact or monitor student learning.
Thank you and keep up the good work.
