All OSSU families and our communities are invited to join us on Friday, September 5, at 6 p.m., for The Playing Fields Project at Hazen Union School (126 Hazen Union Dr., Hardwick, VT). Arrival at 5:30 p.m. is encouraged. Playing Fields is a free back-to-school celebration presented by the Flynn and the Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union. Bring your friends and family to Hazen’s Fields for an interactive and awe-inspiring evening of circus, music, and giant puppets, featuring Les Girafes, created by Compagnie Off, an exciting and dynamic street theater troupe from France. The show is expected to last about one hour.

Food Truck Friday + Free Veggie Voucher

We also encourage our guests to check out the amazing food trucks at Hardwick Farmers Market at Atkins Field (140 Granite Street, Hardwick, VT) before the Playing Fields event to grab a bite and make it the perfect day! ALL OSSU students will also receive a FREE $5 'veggie voucher'! Just stop by the Info/Welcome shed (the one with sunflowers painted on it) at Atkins Field during the Market from 3-6 p.m.

The Playing Fields is free and open to everyone—families, friends, and neighbors alike. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, and join us for a magical evening of circus arts, giant puppetry, and community celebration under the open sky.
