The mission of the Wolcott Elementary School Guidance Program is to build a community of students and adults that fosters the growth of children in knowledge, imagination, confidence, compassion and joy.

Please call or email for more information. Guidance Counselor, Kate Gascoyne, and Smokey the Bear

Me and my good old friend.

My name is Kate Gascoyne. I am the school counselor for WES. I work here through a school contract with Lamoille County Mental Health which allows me to provide clinical counseling for individual students in addition to leading small groups and teaching in the classrooms. I have lived in Vermont with my husband since 1996. Together we have been raising our 3 children which has been the biggest challenge and richest joy of our lives.  I enjoy skiing, hiking, playing music and ping-pong, and singing my heart out with friends and family.
